Thursday 18th March 2021: The BARG Spring Quarterly Meeting took place online via Zoom. Our speaker was Lorraine Mepham of Wessex Archaeology with a talk entitled Fifty Sherds of Grey: Making Sense of Pottery.
Tuesday 20th April 2021: On online talk was given by Prof Mike Fulford of Reading University, based on his new book Silchester Revealed: the Iron Age and Roman Town of Calleva. This talk also covered the recent bathhouse excavations.
Saturday 12th June 2021: The BARG 2021 Annual General Meeting was held by an email and postal survey, with forms to be returned by 11.59pm on 12th June.
Thursday 1st July 2021 at 7.30pm: An online zoom talk on A round-up of recent discoveries and work in Berkshire was given by Sarah Orr (Senior Archaeologist at West Berkshire Council) and Philip Smither (Finds Liaison Officer for the PAS covering Berkshire).
