October Edition of In the Field Issued (October 2006)
The Autumn issue of the BARG newsletter has been issued to members.

Further Test Pits Excavated at Peasemore(October 2006)
Over the weekend of 14th and 15th October and on 19th and 20th October BARG members excavated the sixth and seventh test pits at Peasemore, as part of the project to investigate the village's medieval origins.

Magnetometer Survey in Search of West Hagbourne's 'lost' Chapel-of-Ease (September 2006)
On Sunday 3rd September BARG memberss completed a magnetometer survey of the paddock where a resistivity survey had previously located the likely location of a previously 'lost' Chapel-of-Ease at West Hagbourne.

Magnetometer Survey of Part of the Peasemore Enclosure Completed(August 2006)
Over the weekend of the 19th and 20th of August BARG members surveyed 1.5ha (3.75acres) of the Peasemore enclosure using the group's new fluxgate gradiometer. Further details will be posted under the geophysics page of the Peasemore Project.

July Edition of In The Field issued (July 2006)
The latest issue of the BARG newsletter has now been issued to members, and will shortly be made available online in the members area.

First Phase of Peasemore Test Pit Project Completed(July 2006)
Over the weekends of June 17/18th and July 1st/2nd 2006 BARG members excavated the first 5 test pits in this element of the Peasemore Landscape Archaeology Project. An interim report will shortly be available in the Peasemore pages.
