Winter 2008 Edition of In the Field ssued (February 2008)
The Winter issue of the BARG newsletter has been issued to members.

Woodland Archaeology Survey at Peasemore (February & March 2008)
On Friday 29th February and Sunday 2nd March 2008 BARG members carried out woodland archaeology surveys at two woods in Peasemore.

Woodland Archaeology Survey completed at Peasemore (March 2008)
On Sunday 30th March 2008 six BARG members carried out a further woodland survey at Peasemore, completing this element of the Peasemore Landscape Archaeology Project.

Test Pit Project Completed at Peasemore (May 2008)
On Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th May BARG members completed this element of the Peasemore project by digging the 18th and 19th test pits in the village, investigating two areas close to the 'enclosure' feature.

Geophysical Surveys and Mapping of Sarsen Stones carried out at at Hill Green (May/June 2008)
On Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June BARG members carried out resistivity and magnetometer surveys at Hill Green, Leckhampstead, a suggested site of a lost 'cromlech' or neolithic long barrow. The locations of the many sarsen stone now scattered across the Green were also plotted.
